Hiroaki Ishiura takes 2nd pole at Motegi!

Rd.4 is Twin Ring Motegi. Toyota and Honda both manufacturer introduce new specs engine.

・Q1 20min session
All 19 cars into track and use old tyre for first attack.
Before last 7 min, James Rossiter (Kondo Racing) suffered gearbox trouble and finish 19th grid. Finally Kamui Kobayashi (KYGUNUS SUNOCO Team LeMans) into 1st position.
4 driver drop out from Q1. Local man Koudai Tsukakoshi (Real Racing), Bertrand Baguette (Nakajima Racing), William Buller (Kondo Racing), Yuichi Nakayama (KCMG), James Rossiter (Kondo Racing).

・Q2 7min session
Rising track temperatures before Q1. Almost driver attacks 1timed-lap (include 2 warm lap). Finally Hiroaki Ishiura (P.MU/ Cermo・Inging) sets top time.
5 driver drop out from Q2 only 0.7sec top to 14th position. good Q1 but not into Q3 Daisuke Nakajima (Nakajima Racing), Ryo Hirakawa (KYGUNS SUNOCO Team LeMans), Narain Karthikeyan (Docomo Team Dandelion), Yuji Kunimoto (P.MU/Cermo・Inging), Takashi Kogure (Drago Corse). Takuya Izawa (Real Racing).

・Q3 7min session
First Petronas Team TOM’s guys into track.
And score fast time. Last of session,local hero Tomoki Nojiri (Docomo Team Dandelion) break over 0.2sec. But point leader Hiroaki Ishiura (P.MU/Cermo・Inging) passes Nojiri’s time only 0.02sec! Finally Ishiura takes 2nd career pole position.
Tomoki Nojiri is 2nd it is top of Honda engine user. 3rd is best grid for Kamui Kobayashi.
4th is Kazuki Nakajima (Petronas Team TOM’s). 5th is a big favorite in Motegi J.P.Oliveira (Lenovo Team IMPUL).
